US Open prize money and ranking points

2026 purse not yet announced

What every round paid in 2025, what the 2026 position actually is, and the ranking points on offer at each stage. The 2025 figures are the official USTA numbers. No 2026 figure exists yet, and we are not going to invent one.

The 2026 number does not exist yet The USTA has not published 2026 prize money. It is caught up in an unresolved dispute over revenue sharing. Any 2026 total you see quoted elsewhere is somebody's projection off the 2025 number. The Athletic, 21 July 2026

The 90 million and the 85 million

You will see both figures for 2025. The USTA quotes 90 million dollars as total player compensation, which includes hotel and per diem allocations and the wheelchair events. Reporting elsewhere used 85 million as the narrower core prize pool. Both are correct, they are counting different things. usopen.org

Ranking points by round

Confirmed for 2025. No separate 2026 Grand Slam points table has been published, and slam points structures rarely move year to year, but that stability is an assumption rather than something we can point at a document for.

Why has the 2026 prize money not been announced?

It sits inside an unresolved dispute. A coalition of leading players is pressing the four majors for guaranteed prize money set at 16 percent of tournament revenue, rising to 22 percent by 2030, plus 4 million dollars a year toward player pensions and healthcare. Some players have discussed boycotting the Mixed Doubles Championship over it. The USTA had not committed to a revenue sharing formula when the dispute was last reported. The Athletic

2000 on both tours, the same as every Grand Slam. The tables above show the full breakdown by round. Losing in the first round is still worth 10 points.
