Editorial policy
livetennis.io publishes four kinds of fact, and each one has a different source, a different owner and a different shelf life. This page states all three so a reader can judge how much weight to put on anything here.
Where each fact comes from
| What | Source | Rechecked |
|---|---|---|
| Order of play, live scores, results | The official ATP and WTA match feeds | Every hour, and every few minutes while a match is in play |
| Rankings and points | The published ATP and WTA ranking releases, stamped with the date they were issued | Every Monday, on release |
| Broadcast and streaming rights | The tournament or tour rights announcement, the broadcaster's own market page, or trade reporting that names the deal. Each row on a where-to-watch page links its source. | Before each Grand Slam, and whenever a deal is announced |
| Draws, seeds, prize money, withdrawals | The tournament's own published draw sheet and player field | Daily during the event |
What we will not publish
A rights holder we cannot source. If no announcement, broadcaster page or trade report names who has the rights in a country, the row says unconfirmed. It does not guess, and it does not copy the guess off another affiliate site.
A price or a free claim we have not checked. "Free" on this site means free to air or a free tier, not a trial that bills you later.
Advice on getting round a geographic block. Every listing is the legal rights holder for that country.
Anything a commercial partner asked for. Operators pay commission on accounts opened through tracked links. They do not choose what appears on a page, and no ranking, score or rights table is for sale. See the affiliate disclosure.
Dates and staleness
Every page that carries a checked fact shows the date it was last checked, next to the name of the person who checked it. That date is the same value search engines read from the page markup, so the two cannot drift apart. A ranking table also shows the date the tour itself published the ranking, which is often not the same day.
Corrections
Mistakes get fixed on the page, not quietly deleted. Email [email protected] with the URL and what is wrong. Rights and ranking corrections are usually live within a day.
