Flavio Cobolli was born on May 6, 2002, in Florence, Italy. He turned professional in 2020, winning his first ATP match at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna Open. His breakthrough came in 2024 with a Washington final and top 30 ranking, followed by two titles in 2025 (Bucharest ATP 250, Hamburg ATP 500) and a Wimbledon quarterfinal. In 2026, he won the Mexican Open ATP 500 and reached the Bavarian Open final.
