Playing style
Marta Kostyuk plays an aggressive, high-risk "killshot" style, constantly seeking to dictate points with powerful groundstrokes and net approaches. Her explosive movement and reflexes enable excellent court coverage and volleying, making her dangerous from all positions. She generates heavy topspin forehands for depth and employs an inside-out backhand swing for pace, though her game demands precision to avoid errors in extended rallies.
