In the news
“"Today was a really difficult match... I think I played a really good match against a tough opponent who started the season well."”
Playing style
Darderi is a baseline clay-court specialist with a powerful serve and heavy forehand as primary weapons. Right-handed with two-handed backhand, he generates depth and pace from both wings, using speed and movement to extend rallies and wear down opponents. His tactical identity revolves around consistent pressure on clay, though he shows potential on faster surfaces with serve and aggression.
