Playing style
Cerúndolo is a baseline powerhouse with explosive groundstrokes, particularly a massive forehand that he unleashes inside-out to dictate rallies. His reliable two-handed backhand provides consistency and depth, complemented by elite returning ability and heavy topspin on second serves. Strong on clay where his movement shines, he grinds down opponents in long rallies while capable on all surfaces, making him dangerous against top players when confident.
