She broke through with her first WTA title at the 2013 Baku Cup as a teenager and first entered the top 10 in 2017. A former world No. 3, she has won 19 WTA singles titles. As of April 2026, she is ranked No. 7 with 3,910 points, having won Auckland for her 19th title, reached finals in Dubai and semifinals at Australian Open and Indian Wells.
