Playing style
Casper Ruud is a baseline grinder with exceptional consistency, heavy topspin forehand as his primary weapon, and solid two-handed backhand. Evolving from a clay-court specialist to a more complete, aggressive player capable on all surfaces, he wears down opponents through depth, spin, and point construction, excelling in long rallies while improving net play and return game.[ATP Tour](https://www.atptour.com/en/news/ruud-feature-us-open-2024-saturday), [Reddit analysis](https://www.reddit.com/r/tennis/comments/x7gng8/casper_ruud_fans_describe_his_game_to_me/), [YouTube breakdown](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtzX9wZ6RZk)
