Playing style
Ben Shelton is an aggressive left-handed power player whose massive serve, often exceeding 140 mph, dominates points early. He leverages a heavy forehand with spin and depth to dictate from the baseline, transitioning effectively to the net. His tactical identity revolves around first-strike tennis, shortening rallies with pace and lefty angles, making him dangerous against top returners despite occasional defensive lapses.
